Ronnie Fieg, founder of Kith, is more than a dabbler when it comes to BMW M products. The collaboration E30 M3 from Kith and BMW was picture-perfect. Fieg’s full collection of cars has even been featured in BMW’s M magazine.
So I take BMW x Kith collabs seriously. Based on their increasing frequency and apparent high-level of detail and execution, the mashups have been a worthwhile exercise for both automaker and auteur.
Kith just announced its latest BMW collection, which includes some nostalgic-cool windbreakers, a sweater jacket I would wear on every trip to Germany, and pre-orders for a Kith-customized 2025 BMW XM.
Available in both Frozen Black and a stellar Frozen Techno Violet that’s exclusive to the collab (purple cars are so hot right now), the $199,000 performance SUV will be limited to just 47 units worldwide.
As with many of Fieg’s elegant sneaker designs, the Kith influence is very IYKYK. The interior boasts sections of leather lavishly embossed with a Kith logo print, bespoke pillows, and splashes of the brand alongside the classic M colorblocking, everywhere. Discrete exterior badging, in matte black and body color, calls out the limited edition with a whisper.
